  • Failed to resolve filter: dateFormat in Nuxt

    Failed to resolve filter: dateFormat in Nuxt

    Nuxt version: 2.14.4

    I got warn [Vue warn]: Failed to resolve filter: dateFormat in Nuxt, but the filter is working. I think the problem is because I use client mode to import this filter in nuxt.config.js. I think like that because I also made another global filter and import it in ssr mode (without mode: 'client' option) and it is working perfectly. Unfortunately, this plugin is not working in ssr mode, so I imported this plugin in client mode.

    plugins: [
      { src: '~/filters/filter-date-format', mode: 'client' },
    ]

    in the vue component:

    {{ new Date() | dateFormat('YYYY MMM DD') }}

    the result: image it's working, but image

    I have tried to add component but it still reproduce that warn. So, is there a solution to solve this?

  • Allow to select UTC timestamp

    Allow to select UTC timestamp

    Allow to specify the UTC timestamp should be formatted instead of the local time.

    Mostly this requires changing input.getX() to input.getUTCX() based on some additional argument.

  • Incorrect display of date as 0NaN.aN.aN aN:aN pm

    Incorrect display of date as 0NaN.aN.aN aN:aN pm

    I've seen this sporadicly in Chromium but pretty consistently in Safari both on MacOS and iOS.

    Published on: {{new Date(a.pub_date) | dateFormat('YYYY.MM.DD hh:mm a')}}

    will display:

    Published on: 0NaN.aN.aN aN:aN pm

    The value for pub_date in this example is:

    pub_date: "2020-04-28T09:00:30+0000"

    MacOS: Version 10.15.3 Safari: Version 13.0.5 (15608.5.11)

    Release notes

    v1.0.0

    It's here 🎉

    Features

    • add support of arbitrary mounting point via attachTo option (#1492) feat: stub out transitions by default (#1411)
    • feat(test-utils): add 'overview' function (#1491)
    • return nextTick from setters

    You may now await methods that update the DOM, where you would have used nextTick before. #1517. For example:

    // before
    wrapper.trigger('click')
    await wrapper.vm.$nextTick()

    // after await wrapper.trigger('click')

    Other

    • This is v1, and some methods will be deprecated moving forward as per this RFC. (#1518) Warnings have been added. You can disable these warnings with config.showDeprecationWarnings:
    import { config } from `@vue/test-utils`

    config.showDeprecationWarnings = false

    There are some bugs that may never be fixed, or require a significant rethink of the architecture. This release does not reflect a perfect library, but one that is stable and unlikely to change or go away anytime soon. Significant changes will now go via the RFC process. Finally, we will continue to update the library - 1.0 does not mean "done and dusted".

    We are working on support for Vue 3! Find it here.

    Thanks to all the contributors who helped us finally hit the 1.0.0 🖖

    3.10.0

    It's time for another AVA release 🎉

    Restricting when you can update snapshots

    When executing a subset of tests, through --match or or .only() or .skip(), you can no longer also update snapshots. This prevents you from accidentally deleting snapshots. Thank you @bunysae for putting this together. f72fab40160a413f4d7ab0208979fe3e721198ea

    If you are skipping a test that you can't immediately fix, but you still need to update snapshots, use .failing() instead.

    Support for message strings in t.timeout() calls

    Thanks to @jonathansamines you can now provide a message string when using t.timeout(). This can be useful if your test depends on some other setup that may not have been completed: ca8ea45587ebefa5584d6a7aa50adf90840701cf

    test('foo', t => {
    	t.timeout(100, 'make sure database has started');
    	// Write your assertions here
    });

    t.try() does not work in hooks

    t.try() has never worked in hooks, but thanks to @okyantoro it now fails properly instead of crashing. d01db61ee5e9785d9f80ad5683cac21db4b96509

    t.snapshot() does not really work in hooks either

    t.snapshot() sort of works in hooks, but we'll be removing this in AVA 4. You can opt in to this behavior by enabling the disableSnapshotsInHooks experiment. Again thank you @okyantoro d01db61ee5e9785d9f80ad5683cac21db4b96509.

    Fixed TypeScript definition for t.like()

    The experimental t.like() assertion should now work better with TypeScript.

    All changes

    Support relative time format

    github/time-elements is a classical use case of time formatting library. Since it is a web component - Vue apps are having a hard time using it. I wish there's similar time since relative formatting in vue-filter-date-format.
